Student Services
The Southern Ute Indian Montessori Academy provides specialized services to address student’s individual needs and learning styles. There is a Child Study team to address any educational, social and developmental concerns of individual students.
The Specialists consist of:
- Coordinator of Specialized Services
- School Counselor
- School Nurse
- Two Reading Specialists
- Occupational Therapist
- Physical Therapist
- Speech and Language Therapist
They provide direct services to the students individually, in small groups and/or with whole groups in the classroom. Each Specialist maintains state and discipline specific certifications and licensures, involving ongoing continuing education development.
